Steak
Blueberry Peach Cobbler
Yield: 8-10 Servings

1/2 CUP UNSALTED BUTTER
1 CUP ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
3/4 CUP PLUS, 1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
1/2 CUP MILK
2 CUPS PEELED, SLICED PEACHES
2 CUPS FRESH BLUEBERRIES

*You may substitute using a casserole dish in the oven, with cooking in a Dutch Oven,  or individual Cobbler Pots, over coals.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Melt the butter in a 2 1/2-quart baking dish. Combine the flour, 3/4 cup of the sugar, the baking powder, and milk in a medium bowl.  Stir well and spoon the batter carefully onto the hot butter, but do not stir.  In a separate bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup sugar with the peaches and blueberries.  Carefully spoon the fruit over the batter.  Bake until the crust rises through the fruit and browns, 30 to 45 minutes.
